This course is designed for aspiring secondary education teachers specialising in Science or Mathematics. Choose this course to become a well-equipped educator, ready to teach in New South Wales with a deep understanding of your subject matter.

What sets this course apart is its Vertical Stack structure (undergraduate + postgraduate degree), allowing you to study science comprehensively before transitioning to teaching modules in your second year. This approach bypasses the usual entry requirement of three Band 5 HSC results, including English, for admission to an initial teacher education course.

You'll be expected to maintain a Credit average in your initial years to proceed to the latter stages of the program. Failing to do so will still permit you to graduate with a Bachelor of Science.

Applicants must have completed an Australian Year 12 qualification; IELTS: 7.5 overall with a writing score of 7.0; TOEFL 102 overall with a writing score of 27; PTE 73 with a writing score of 65
