The Heating, Gas Supply, Ventilating and Air Conditioning Engineering program at Nanjing University of Science and Technology is an applied engineering discipline focused on the principles, design, operation and optimization of building environmental systems. It integrates thermodynamics, fluid mechanics, heat transfer and energy systems with practical techniques for heating, gas supply, ventilation and air-conditioning (commonly known as HVAC). Students learn to analyze and design efficient indoor climate control systems, sustainable energy usage, air quality management and gas distribution infrastructure for residential, commercial and industrial buildings. The curriculum combines theoretical coursework, laboratory experiments and real-world design projects, preparing graduates for careers in HVAC system design, energy management, building services engineering, construction technology and environmental control, as well as further study or research in building energy and environmental engineering.
NOTE: The university may have additional program-specific eligibility requirements. It is recommended to verify these on the official university website.
