The Journalism and Communication program at Wuhan University of Technology is an undergraduate major that prepares students to understand, produce and critically analyse media content across traditional and new media platforms. The curriculum combines foundational courses in news reporting, media writing, broadcast and digital media production, communication theory, media ethics and public opinion with practical training in interviewing, newsroom work, multimedia storytelling and social media communication. Through classroom study, hands-on projects and internships, students develop strong skills in written and visual communication, critical thinking, audience analysis and media literacy. Graduates are equipped for careers in journalism, media production, public relations, digital content creation, corporate communication, and media research, as well as for further study in communication, media studies or related fields.
