The Digital Broadcasting major gives you the critical skills you need to be successful in any reporting environment, whether working for online news sites, traditional media outlets, radio or TV stations, cable or streaming networks, social media or other emerging platforms. Digital Broadcasting majors learn how to write, shoot, edit, produce and direct video for broadcasting, digital and streaming media platforms. Their work is regularly published on the Caplin News and on our daily news show, Newsbreak. Digital Broadcasting majors may also take advantage of immersive and experiential learning opportunities like the Univision STEP program or the NBCU Academy fellowship.
