This Program is built upon the primary discipline of Control Science and Engineering, which is a key sub-discipline within the Double First-Class discipline clusters. The discipline comprises seven sub-disciplines: Control Theory and Control Engineering, Systems Engineering, Detection Technology and Automation Devices, Pattern Recognition and Intelligent Systems, Navigation, Guidance and Control, Computer Technology and Intelligent Systems, and Economic Forecasting and Management Decision. The faculty team comprises one dual-employed academician, one cross-disciplinary academician specialized in safety engineering, one part-time academician, and 33 professors, including 28 doctoral supervisors. The Program possesses one postdoctoral research station in Control Science and Engineering, two national engineering practice education centers, four provincial/ministerial-level research institutes, and one Beijing Municipal Demonstration Center for Experimental Teaching. The doctoral training program emphasizes both fundamental theoretical education and cross-penetration with related disciplines, while also fostering innovation.
