The Aquaculture program at Nanjing Agricultural University is a four-year undergraduate major offered through its Wuxi Fisheries College, a specialized unit of the university focused on fisheries and aquatic sciences. Established with strong international and research partnerships, the program trains students in the biological, ecological and technical aspects of aquatic organism production and management. The curriculum covers core subjects such as aquatic ecology, fish biology, breeding and genetics, nutrition and feed science, water environment chemistry, disease prevention and aquaculture technology, preparing students for careers in sustainable aquaculture production, research, aquatic resource management and related industries.
