Electronic Information Science and Engineering at Nanjing Agricultural University is an interdisciplinary engineering program that combines electronics, information technology and intelligent systems to support modern agricultural and industrial applications. The discipline focuses on the design, development and integration of electronic systems, signal processing, embedded systems, communication technologies and smart sensing, with special emphasis on precision agriculture, automation, agricultural Internet of Things (IoT), and data-driven field monitoring. Students learn core engineering fundamentals—such as circuit design, microprocessors, digital systems, sensors and actuators—alongside applications in agricultural machinery automation, environmental sensing networks, and intelligent control systems that enhance efficiency and sustainability in agricultural production. With hands-on laboratory training, project-based learning and access to research platforms at NAU, graduates are prepared for careers in electronic and information engineering industries, smart agriculture technology development, research and consultancy, and further postgraduate studies in fields such as automation, embedded systems and IoT engineering.
NOTE: The university may have additional program-specific eligibility requirements. It is recommended to verify these on the official university website.
