The Food Nutrition and Health undergraduate program at Nanjing Agricultural University is a four-year Bachelor of Engineering degree offered by the College of Food Science & Technology that is designed to cultivate interdisciplinary professionals who understand the scientific principles of nutrition, food science, biology, and human health. The curriculum combines foundational courses in biochemistry, food chemistry, food microbiology, human nutrition and physiology with practical training in diet design, nutrition assessment, functional food development, dietary planning and health management, enabling students to analyze, evaluate and improve the health value of foods and diets. Graduates are prepared to work in nutrition and health consulting, food product development, public health education, research, quality control and management within the food, health and wellness sectors, contributing to societal nutrition improvement and the national “Healthy China” strategy.
