The Rural Regional Development program at Nanjing Agricultural University is an undergraduate major offered through the Rural Development Department that aims to cultivate interdisciplinary professionals with a strong foundation in rural development theory, planning, management and practice. The curriculum draws from disciplines including management science, economics, sociology and ecology to equip students with the knowledge and skills needed to analyze rural issues, design development plans, manage rural projects, and promote sustainable rural revitalization.
