The Aquaculture (also called Aquaculture Science or Fishery Science) program at Nanjing Agricultural University is a core agricultural discipline hosted through its Wuxi Fisheries College under the College of Animal Science and Technology, focusing on the biology, technology and management of aquatic organisms and systems. It covers the breeding, cultivation, nutrition, health and environmental management of fish and other aquatic animals, combining fundamental biological sciences with applied aquaculture techniques to address challenges in sustainable aquatic food production and resource use.
