The Food Processing and Safety program at Nanjing Agricultural University is an interdisciplinary discipline that integrates principles from food science, engineering, microbiology and quality management to ensure that food products are processed efficiently and safely from production to consumption. The curriculum covers key topics such as food chemistry, food microbiology, food processing technologies, preservation methods, food safety regulations, hazard analysis and critical control points (HACCP), quality assurance systems and food packaging.
