The Marxist Theory program at Nanjing Agricultural University is a humanities and social sciences discipline centered on the study of Marxism as a comprehensive theoretical system that analyzes the laws of social development, class relations, political economy and ideology. The curriculum covers Marxist philosophy, political economy, scientific socialism, contemporary Marxist thought and China’s theoretical and practical innovations in Marxism, with particular emphasis on understanding how Marxist theory applies to China’s economic, social and agricultural development.
