Northeast Forestry University is a multi-disciplinary university with forestry science as its strength and forestry engineering as its characteristic. It is located in Harbin, the center of my country's largest state-owned forest area. The campus covers an area of 136 hectares and has teaching, research and internship bases such as Maoershan Experimental Forest Farm (Maoershan Forest Park) and Liangshui Experimental Forest Farm (Liangshui National Nature Reserve), with a total area of 33,000 hectares.

General Policy Statement:
1. Book online in advance: Each school may has a different booking method, so the accommodation intention should be submitted and replied to CUCAS promptly by applicants. For some school, you may be required to provide login information for the registred personal account after admission, so that the CUCAS can help book. For other school, a deposit or accommodation fee is required at the time of booking, so applicants can book by self; If need help from the CUCAS, the 20% service fee for transferring fee is need be to charged.
2. Arranged by school: Rooms on campus are guaranteed. No need or unavailable to book in advance.
3. First come, first served: Unavailable to book in advance. (1)The room is guaranteed, but the first come may choose the type first. (2) The room is limited.
4. NO on-campus accommodation: Students are required to rent off campus.

Fly to Harbin Taiping International Airport (HRB): This is the main airport serving Harbin and the closest major airport for NEFU.
From Airport to City:
- Airport Shuttle Bus (Recommended for Budget): Take the airport shuttle bus (usually Line 1 or 2) into Harbin city center (e.g., near the Railway Station or Civil Aviation Hotel).
- Taxi (Convenient & Direct): Taxis are readily available outside the airport; the ride to the university area will cost roughly ¥150-¥250 (Chinese Yuan) and take about an hour.

From City Center to NEFU: Once in the city, you can take a local bus (many routes serve the university area) or another short taxi ride to Northeast Forestry University, located in the Xiangfang District.
