International development is a distinctive program within the discipline of political science and international relations. The program adopts an innovative approach to development as a practice and perspective which has increasingly global relevance beyond its traditional focus on North-South relations. The program aims to familiarize students with “development" as adverse practice and contested concept which has shaped significantly much recent global history whilst also having profound relevance to understanding our shared future global prospects. Students who fulfill the graduation requirements will be awarded a Master’s degree in Political Science.
