B2 Level English is Required - University does NOT accept English as a medium of secondary education as an exemption. Applicants to the BSc in Business Informatics are required to complete a Mathematics entrance test as part of the admission process. The exam is conducted online through SkillCert and evaluates applicants’ fundamental mathematical skills. The test consists of 26 questions to be completed within 60 minutes, and applicants receive a score out of 100. Candidates who achieve a score above the required threshold will receive conditional acceptance, although the threshold may vary depending on the programme and the admission year. The questions are typically based on problem solving and data sufficiency, and require knowledge of arithmetic, elementary algebra, and geometry. The mathematics test may be waived if applicants meet specific academic qualifications. These include achieving grade 3 or higher in AP Mathematics (AB or BC), 27 or above in the ACT Mathematics section, IB Mathematics with at least SL 5 or HL 4, a minimum of 45% in the Advanced level Matura exam (Emelt Érettségi) in Mathematics obtained in Hungary, grade 6 (or B) or higher in Mathematics GCSE/IGCSE, or a grade B in A-level Mathematics.
