The Masters in Trumpet Performance (MSc) at Széchenyi István University is a two-year, English-taught postgraduate program designed to develop advanced technical mastery, musical interpretation, and professional performance skills on the trumpet. The curriculum emphasizes intensive instrumental training, including solo performance, orchestral and chamber music, and stage practice, allowing students to explore diverse musical styles and refine their artistic expression. Students also engage with music theory, history, and analytical studies to deepen their understanding of repertoire and performance practice. The program focuses on building high-level performance techniques, stylistic awareness across musical periods, and professional conduct, preparing graduates for careers as professional trumpet players, orchestral musicians, chamber performers, or music educators, as well as for further academic or research pursuits in music.
