This programme equips students with a detailed knowledge and understanding of the law and market practice in the provisions of international financial services, a key component of the Irish economy. It is a valuable qualification for financial services lawyers and professionals who wish to enhance and update their knowledge of legal principles and market practice and for financial services industry participants for who knowledge of legal practice is a necessary component of their professional legal practice.The programme is a follow-on to the Diploma Progamme in International Financial Services Law, and is offered in partnership with the Law Society Finuas Network. Applicants must have completed the Diploma prior to applying for this programme.
Throughout this programme, students are challenged to understand and think critically about various facets of international financial services law, in its broader social and political context. The understanding thereby acquired is also relevant to their contribution as citizens in an increasingly wide range of areas.
