The Degree in Civil and Environmental Engineering aims at training graduates in possession of the scientific, technical, and cultural requisites useful to understand, solve and manage the basic problems related to the design, construction, maintenance and safety keeping of civil works and the built environment in which they are inserted, with reference to the demand and standards of the international construction market.
The professional figure trained by the Degree Course, Civil and Environmental junior Engineer, can take on the function of design assistant or manager of environmental and land transformation services and processes.
To pursue the educational objectives of the Degree Program, the basic disciplines are selected so as to provide the fundamental elements to know and understand the methodological-operational aspects of mathematical analysis, experimental physics, analytical geometry and theoretical mechanics. These disciplines, which define the group of basic training activities, are placed in the first year of studies and in the first semester of the second year.
