The program provides an energy-environment fusion education, focusing on research and development in new energy materials, bioenergy, new/renewable energy sources, and greenhouse gas management. The curriculum is interdisciplinary, incorporating aspects of nanotechnology (NT), biotechnology (BT), chemical synthesis (CT), and information/communication technology (ICT) to address global energy and environmental challenges.
