In order to lead the 4th industrial revolution in which innovative changes is emerging by cutting-edge information and communication technologies such as artificial intelligence, the Internet of Things, big data, mobile, etc., Department of Information Communication Engineering aims to cultivate the talent with creative thinking and global competitiveness. Information and communication technology is the representative future growth engine, taken up 30% of Korea's total exports, and is the core technologies in future convergence areas such as autonomous vehicles, augmented reality, telemedicine, intelligent robots, smart finance, blockchain and space exploration, as well as traditional IT fields such as smartphones, computer software, 3D printers, wireless mobile communications and information security. The Department of Information and Communication Engineering has an excellent future convergence curriculum and state-of-the-art laboratory facilities, and, provides industry demand-based education through various national support projects such as IPP and LINC + in order to cultivate practical tailored talents.
