The bachelor’s programme Global Perspectives on Gender, Human Rights and Social Justice offers you a unique opportunity to study some of the most pressing issues of our time – from gender equality and human rights to sustainable development and social justice – all within a truly global context.

Through an interdisciplinary lens—combining gender studies, global studies, and human rights—you will gain both the theoretical insights and practical skills needed to understand and address today’s complex societal challenges.

The programme examines how issues such as gender, health, identity, work, violence, and sustainability are shaped across different countries and influenced by international bodies such as the UN and EU through policy and law. By actively engaging with the UN Sustainable Development Goals, the programme deepens your understanding of gender equality, equity, and social justice.

Entry Requirements

Grade 12 with minimum 60% from a recognised institution. Maths & Civics is a mandatory requirement.

Remarks

IELTS/TOEFL/PTE is a mandatory requirement. Please note Grade 12th pursuing student is not accepted, student needs to submit their 12th marksheet before the document submission deadline. TOEFL overall required score is 90 with no band less than 20 in Writing and PTE overall required score is 62 with no band less than 61 in writing. Students from Sri Lanka with an 'F' grade in English at GCE A-Level must provide an English test scorecard; IELTS/TOEFL waiver is not possible. Application Period for Aug. 2026 intake is 16th October 2025 - 15th January 2026.
