Discover the foundations of legal knowledge in the Common Law legal tradition as well as Scots Law and develop key transferable skills when you study the 4 year Dual Qualifying LLB. You then have total flexibility to proceed towards qualifying to practise Law in Scotland, England and Wales, or Northern Ireland, as well as many other common law jurisdictions, including Canada and Nigeria. Law graduates are also well placed for a wide variety of other careers, and you will have careers sessions embedded in your programme.
Our goal is to give you maximum flexibility in preparing you for your future career. This may be as a practising lawyer in Scotland or a Common Law jurisdiction, or as a professional using the skills you have acquired in another area. Dundee Law School graduates are found amongst the highest ranks of the judiciary, leading KCs and Magic Circle law firms, as well as in finance, the Civil and Diplomatic Services and leading companies.
Through your Dual Qualifying LLB you will acquire an in-depth understanding of how the law operates both in business and society under two different legal traditions. You will also develop key transferable skills in research, analysis and problem solving, as well as the ability to present complex issues clearly, both orally and in writing.

India Standard XII - Minimum 65% in CBSE, ISC or leading state board are acceptable. XII should include English or another Literary subject. India Standard X - Minimum 70% in Maths & Science.
