The Operations and Supply Chain Management (OSCM) program at the University of Arizona's Eller College of Management provides a comprehensive education, preparing students for success in the dynamic and constantly evolving field of operations and supply chain management. Operations management deals with the management of processes involved in the manufacturing of physical goods and in the delivery of services. In recent years, its scope has been extended to the coordination of production activities in the entire supply chain. Students will learn how to manage processes, inventory, logistics, and procurement in order to optimize the flow of goods and services in a supply chain. Residing in the MIS Department, ranked among the top in the nation, the program emphasizes the importance of technology and data analytics in OSCM. Students will learn how to use advanced software and tools to improve decision-making and efficiency in supply chain processes. Upon completion of the program, graduates will be well-prepared to pursue careers in a variety of industries such as manufacturing, retail, logistics, consulting, and healthcare. They may work in roles such as operations manager, supply chain analyst, logistics coordinator, or procurement specialist.
