The Financial Management major is specifically designed to prepare students for careers in corporate money management and investment. The curriculum is closely tied to professional financial services practice. It was developed in partnership with the local Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) society, and prepares students to take the first level of the CFA exams which lead to the CFA designation. There are many career opportunities for students that complete this major, including working as a financial analyst, asset manager, and research associate for investment companies, investment banks, hedge funds, insurance companies and securities brokers. Students who major in Financial Management are also eligible to apply to the Accelerated MS in Financial Risk Management Program.
