MA students take foundational classes on engineering science and policy to transition from the social sciences or humanities into careers in environmental engineering. Students with this degree go on to further graduate study in environmental engineering and work at the intersection of engineering and the humanities. The MA degree is open to students with undergraduate degrees in social science or the humanities.
