Degree: Bachelor of Arts (Honours) in Events Management (awarded by Bournemouth University)
Programme duration: 3 years (Full-time) including a minimum of 30 weeks of work placement undertaken throughout the course
Location: BUV Campus, Ecopark, Hanoi
Timetable: Student’s timetable will be sent to BUV student’s emails prior to the commencement date of each semester
Practical Event Experience:
Throughout your first and second year at BUV, you will participate in a mandatory series of live events designed to enhance your practical experience in event planning, organisation, and execution. These experiences will build upon your theoretical knowledge and equip you with the essential organisational and project management skills required to excel as an event manager.
By engaging in the practical implementation of live event management, you will gain firsthand experience in key areas such as strategic planning, risk management, budgeting and finance, cultural diversity, and sustainability within the event industry.
Applying the skills introduced in your coursework, this hands-on experience will serve as valuable preparation for the mandatory 15-week industry placement between your second and third year, ensuring you are well-equipped for professional practice in the field.
You will also collaborate as a team in-house at BUV as well as with external partners where available and relevant to support the delivery of events.
